Asking people to prom?

All my friends have girlfriends so I've got no idea whether it's the done thing to ask a girl to prom at GCSE. Are people doing it/have done it or are people just going Lone Ranger.

idk at our school it's not a big deal. nobody's really going with anyone? we're just all sitting with our friends

Do whatever makes you happy. Afterwards it'll just be one of those forgetful days.

I ask a guy to prom, so go for it

Most our people are going with other friends including me. Lots of people are going alone as well, it doesn't really matter. U'll all reach the same destination ahahaha so u can go alone.
