1. question 4 was the circle equation one: centre (-5,8), radius root(10)

question 6 was find the values of m and p in an identity: m =8, p= -1

question 9 was expand and simplify (x-5)^3 = x^3 - 15x^2 + 75x - 125

question 11 - coords given for pts A B and C, prove AB and BC are perpendicular (gradients were -5/2 and 2/5)

question 12 completing the sq: (a) h=3, k= -7 (b) (-3,-7) (c) -3 +/- root(7)

question 15 rationalise denominator 6/(root(7) + 2) = 2root(7) - 4

There was a question about the root 80 + root xI got x=25

Sorry mate that was x=45 because root125 is 5root5, root20 is 2root5 and root80 is 4root5, so x=3root5 which is root45

For the range of x values question, I put 9, 10 , 11 because the question asked for integer solutions? I did put 8 < x < 12, but only in the working out
I think this is right cause it asked for integer values definitely

I really don't know how u got -80 for the x/y question, i wrote 80 :/
y<0, so when you do the square root you take the negative one and get -80
5. Does anybody remember the limiting value question- everybody seems to have got 3/5 but I managed to get 2
6. (Original post by jjen2603)
oh I thought he just said an A.
Oh right, because A^ is 2 grades above A (A^,A*A)
7. What was the range question? I think I must have missed it out. How many marks was it?

Not a range/domain question but the question that people are talking about a range for is:
Q7 find the integer values of x for x^2 - 20x + 96 < 0 (3marks, I think)
9. What was the rationalising the denominator question and what did everyone get as the answer?

Ok thanks I completely misread the question and just solved it as a quadratic should get 1 mark for factorising hopefully

see post 41 above
12. What did everyone get for the 4 mark completing the square question??
13. Also what was the 4 mark completing the square question? I cannot remember
14. (Original post by jojo41)
see post 41 above
Thank you, at least I've got one question right haha
15. 62 marked harsly, guys what do you think a^ will be.
16. I got minimum 65
17. (Original post by chelseafc141)
How many marks do y'all think you got
around 50
18. (Original post by lily628)
thought i might as well get one going...
Factorise (x4 - 81)
= (x2 - 9)(x2 + 9)
= (x - 3)(x + 3)(x2 + 9)
If I left it as (x2 - 9)(x2 + 9) would I lose a mark?
I felt so proud for figuring that out as well. :/

that answer is correct, i'm 100 percent sure
20. Ive failed it completely
