Hi, I am starting a one year primary teacher training course in September and I have recently filled in the form for student finance.

I am over 25 and still living with my mum but it didn't ask for evidence of my mums income. Is this correct? I am just wondering what would be better for me as I could do with receiving the highest possible maintenance loan as I will have no income.

That's correct. Once you're 25, your parents income is ignored in full. However, if you lived with a partner, it will take their income into account.
