i have the ps3 and am considering switching to a ps4 is it worth it how different is it from ps3

It has different games.

If these are games you want, then yes it's worth it. If it doesn't, then no it's not.

Why don't you keep the PS3 and buy the PS4, that way you are happy.

Don't buy yet.
New model being bought out that's supposedly 3X more powerful and may even be released this year.
Wait and see how much it is and if it actually does release this year.

Keep the PS3 as games aren't backwards compat and the PS3/360 have a better library.

I would get it but DON'T buy a retail model if you want a standard one just go to cex or cash converters as you'll pay 80% of retail for a brand new one that never been unboxed if you want to wait until September to get the newer version that was at e3 then get a preorder for exclusive stuff and a cut price
