Hey, i'm really unhappy at my current sixth form and most likely haven't done very well in my AS exams (but thats not the reason I want to re-start the year) and I really want to have a fresh start. I regret staying on at my school's sixth form so much. The teaching is great but its the social side that I don't like because all of the cliques are the same as they were in the lower school and I hate it. I also am not happy with my current subjects.

Would I be able to just restart year 12 at a different college and forget about the grades I get this year? For example, say if I got a B in AS maths this year, would I be able to do all of the AS maths exams again next year anyway like everyone else in my year who will be in year 12? I know it seems a lot of hassle but honestly, I actually want to resit the year and do AS again. Maths is the only subject i'll be doing again as psychology is linear anyway and then i'll be doing two totally different subjects so they won't matter.

My main issue is not knowing what to say to my current sixth form or my parents. My sixth form expect us to continue going to A2 lessons until the end of July but I don't think I can put up with going in for much longer. I would just email my teachers for the work so I can do it outside of class, but whats the point if I'm going to resit the year somewhere else any way? And also, what is the process like for transferring to a different college? Do I just apply as if I was a year 11 and then ask my head of year for a reference?
