I'm really struggling with the QR section, I cant even understand all the parts of the question let alone how to work it out or to try and do it within a time frame. any advice?

QR can be really tough. If you're struggling to understand the questions, don't try and do them under time pressure just yet. Do practice questions at your own pace.

Once you start getting the hang of questions and think you're getting lots of them right, then start doing them under time pressure. You need try and be a master of mental maths to make sure you don't spend too much time doing sums and using the fiddly UKCAT Calculator.

One of the doctors here in the office has written a blog about UKCAT QR and how to best prepare. It's got some helpful formulae you should learn off-by-heart as well as computer shortcuts and general QR techniques.
