So for the past year, I've been studying biomed at ukc, but its not the degree for me. The problem is, I want to switch to a completely unrelated degree - politics! Does anyone know what this would involve? Obviously I'll have to start again from first year and I'm ok with that, but I read that I'd have to fund the tuition fees myself, and its going to be hard enough explaining to my parents why I want to give up on a years worth of work and stay on an extra year at uni, without it costing an additional £9000! And would i have to reapply through UCAS, or could I speak to the university?
Edit: I just downloaded a student finance booklet that said I could still get funding if I change after first year, which is a relief!
