After interview and work trial: When to contact employer?

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

So on Monday I had a job interview at a local nursery and a work trial on the Wednesday, the employer told me that they'd get back to me either that day or the following day (Thursday) only thing is, they haven't.. so was wondering, do I send a "many thanks for having me at your nursery and for the opportunity of an interview" kind of email, or do I wait to see if they get back to me either way, any advice would be greatfully appreciated

I'd follow up with them. It shows your interest in the role

    I agree.

If say give them a ring tomorrow (Monday) because then it's been a solid week. You know the usual "I had interview last Monday and am just enquiring if you have any updates" by really all you want to know is if you have the job haha

Recently I've been favouring making phone calls purely because with an email they tend to sometimes get unread or simply ignored but with a phone call it's quite direct and less chance of being ignored.

    Good luck
