Sounds soppy, I know... So, I have this massive crush on somebody and I thought it would blow over but it's been months now and I need to 'get over them' in a sense. best ways to do this? I haven't talked much with them but there's just this weird feeling I get by getting too close, yelp.

I get over my crushes by getting to know them. Everyone has flaws but I try to convince myself that the reason for those flaws is why I shouldn't be thinking about them so much. It helps. Find something that turns you off about them. E.g. my last crush was someone who's notorious for cheating on his gfs.

Either that or find other activities to do. It helps if you do things to keep your mind of it - ull realise after a period of time that you haven't thought about it at all for ages. That's when you realise that you've moved on and the crush becomes a thing of the past
