Ive done this q

Basically how i saw it was that length of one side was x and the other side (9-x) and so the area R was x(9-x) =9x- (x^2) so A=-1 and B=9

Because two sides are made up of two pieces of string formed by cutting a piece of length 9 into two. So, one has length x, and the other 9-x.

The total length is 9 and a set distance which is a variable is given x, and since both lengths of string need to add up to the total, it much be (9-x). It works mathematicallu. x + 9-x = 9
