Do y'all want to be independent from the rest of the U.K.? If so,what would our flag look like

I just think this beautiful city is different from the rest of the U.K. And most of these non Londoners don't seem to like us,I don't know why :frown: London is full of fun

Yeah, can't really think why the rest of the UK seems to dislike London.

And Everyone suddenly turned into a Politician

Do I really have to explain to you why Northern Ireland and Scotland are different to London?

You don't.

The user thinks that the UK belongs to European people rather than the British people, so no need to debate with her.

Will we see an independent Newcastle and Manchester as well?

The inability of some Remainers to accept the result is shocking.
My Uncle voted remain but he didn't get the result he wanted, he's trying to declare his house independent now.

Hitler's Nazi Socialism at work. They dont get the result so they try to force other people into submission.

Someone even posted using NATO to force the leave to re-vote Remain LOL

Because the UK is still a sovereign state even as a member of the EU (that's debatable though).

Fine then, London was the first officially recognised capital of England (I think). It's also irrelevant, London is still an English/British city.

Are you sure?

We should have a flag with the Big Ben on and maybe other important monuments

That's quite tacky, the best flags have very simple designs.

Fine Falklands. Or Northern Ireland. Or Doncaster. Or Gloucester. Or any of these areas.
When referendums are held in a region, only people residents of the said region can vote in that referendum. This really isn't new, or even complex concept.

Answered it yourself
Never really thought about it. Sure London is twice as big as Singapore, and they're one of the top countries in the world, but they've got their own island.
What is the benefit of London staying in the UK if we are not even part of the Eu which is our biggest trading partner. Londoners provide 50% of the tax for the United Kindom yet only see 7% of that spent in London compared to New York City which sees 50% of its taxes spent in the actual city. The rest of the country is on a 24/7 handout by London, meanwhile make decisions which will drastically lessen their handout meaning London has to pick up an even higher bill.
In an Independent London we no longer have to be ruled by little Englanders, with little to no education. London's GDP is the twice the size of Singapore .

That's right it is different, it's not English and filled with foreigners and people dat tlk lit dis if they are by chance English. I think London should be independent, then we can build a nice big wall and border around it and let no one in or out, then we could relocate all business and financial sector stuff, banks ect to outside it. Then it'll just be a ghetto.

And Liverpool. Probably cities in general.
I bet the vast majority who vote for this are butthurt students who have no idea of the process and implications of actually making this happen. Idiots. This is one of the most babyish reactions I have ever seen.

Falklands and Northern Ireland have historically 'belonged' to other countries. Doncaster and Gloucester referendums weren't independence referendums. These are not comparable to a potential London independence referendum.
I'm a student in London and voted Leave.
