When two sides are oppersite, one wants remain, other leave causing major issues as the paths split, or one is European and British partner wanted brexit.

One alone would be far too many.

My and my girlfriend voted in opposite ways in this referendum, but we're perfectly able to have civilised discussions about it and respect each other's opinion. I'd be worried for the state of a relationship if this weren't the case, just in general for that matter.

Only complete inbreds would end their relationship over referendums.
The couples will keep having "breaks" until they get the result that's right.

I don't think relationships in general but I can imagine friendships and issues arising between family members.
If things got a bit rocky they could always ask Jimmy Krankie to veto their relationship.
