When I graduate with a degree in biology will I not be able to find a science job due to competition from others with MSc and PhDs? I have 2 months worth of related but very easy experience in an industrial setting, 2 weeks in a uni lab and a 6 week research placement also at university.

What can I do in my last year to improve my chances?
Is it worth much trying to develop my generic skill set too or is it all about experience?

ANY advice welcomed even if off topic

I'm not in sciences so this is just based off what I've heard from my friends who do sciences and wish to go into science based careers but the general consensus seems to be get as much experience working in a lab as possible.

You could also try switching to the MSci course if your uni offers it?
