If you like them, I guess. I saw them ages ago and I'm really not a fan of their music but they performed well enough.

Listened to Addaura's debut album a few times now and quite like it, never really got into their demo even though a bunch of people seemed to love it.

Is that 'Burning for the Ancients' or whatever it's called? I only listened to that once and wasn't blown away.

    So worth more listens maybe?

I like this sort of stuff a lot of the time, this time is no exception. Nice find.

Hmmm....Wodesthrone and AFOS in liverpool at the end of the month. Would be very tempted it if wasn't so damned difficult to get back from Liverpool despite being so close.

Shameless plug of the blog I'm writing while writing and recording my pagan/folk metal EP/album project thingy.
The first three entries will be stuff I wrote some time ago, but will try and update after each recording session.

I was gonna hit the Birmingham one. I don't know Acolyte, but Subvertio Deus are pretty good.

The guitarist of Northern Oak is a friend of my friend's ex. I'm practically famous.

    Oh man:

Antediluvian / Adversarial - Initiated in Impiety as Mysteries

    I really loved this split.

    Pseudogod - Deathwomb Catechesis

    This was also good stuff.
Checked these guys out, probably the most atmospheric band I've heard in a while, if that's the right word for it.

I dunno why that word seems odd to me, because it is an 'atmospheric' album. I guess because the word atmospheric is normally reserved for black metal.

That Pseudogod album sounds to me sorta like a death metal Inquisition. Which is cool. Because the last Inquisition album was ****ing perfect. One of the best albums of 2010 (that's starting to sound too long ago) for sure.

Yeah, maybe it's the way it has been produced. The drums aren't quite as prominent as I expected but it has really grown on me. My appetite for the heavy stuff is coming back so I'll definitely be checking in here more often.

Pseudogod have never been a straight out death metal band anyway, to me they sound like a combination of old Beherit and Archgoat. I swear I've heard the riff on Necromancy Of The Iron Darkness somewhere else before, it's really bugging me.

    Hm, aye.

I'm sure Deathbound or Nasum have something very similar, probably in a few songs, but there's something else I can't think of.

This is gonna annoy me for ages. ;<

Definitely isn't either of those bands.

The new track from Slidhr sounds immense! Can't wait to hear the album.

This is one of the better things I've heard recently.

I thought they (or he?) broke up.
