Re: Rock and Metal SocietyIf you like them, I guess. I saw them ages ago and I'm really not a fan of their music but they performed well enough.
Listened to Addaura's debut album a few times now and quite like it, never really got into their demo even though a bunch of people seemed to love it. -

Checked these guys out, probably the most atmospheric band I've heard in a while, if that's the right word for it.
I dunno why that word seems odd to me, because it is an 'atmospheric' album. I guess because the word atmospheric is normally reserved for black metal.
That Pseudogod album sounds to me sorta like a death metal Inquisition. Which is cool. Because the last Inquisition album was ****ing perfect. One of the best albums of 2010 (that's starting to sound too long ago) for sure.

Re: Rock and Metal SocietyYeah, maybe it's the way it has been produced. The drums aren't quite as prominent as I expected but it has really grown on me. My appetite for the heavy stuff is coming back so I'll definitely be checking in here more often.(Original post by concubine)

Re: Rock and Metal SocietyPseudogod have never been a straight out death metal band anyway, to me they sound like a combination of old Beherit and Archgoat. I swear I've heard the riff on Necromancy Of The Iron Darkness somewhere else before, it's really bugging me.

I thought they (or he?) broke up.
