What are the average working contract hours for 16-17 year olds?
I know this is going to vary a lot but what kinds of hours do 16-17 year olds work during term time as well as at half-terms and summer holidays? I'm only asking since I'm on an eight hour contract and I'm just wondering how much time people spend working? I know the maximum allowance to work is like 40 hours a week, but I can't imagine too many people doing that.
