I've been given an unconditional offer for entry into BEng aerospace engineering this September!
I've a few questions.
How is Swansea compared to the other 3 universities which i have received offers from - Coventry, Queen's Belfast, and UWE Bristol. Based on what I've read, UWE is particularly good for their Aerospace due to it's location and relations with aerospace companies. How does Swansea match up to UWE?
Secondly, is there an option to get a pilot's license as part of the course? I can't find much information on this on the course site, the only thing that was stated was "Practical flying experience is gained from the College’s state-of-the-art Merlin MP521X engineering flight simulator and flying lessons at a local airport. You will also cover a flight test course in aircraft performance, stability and control at a flight school in a Jetstream twin turboprop aircraft ". Coventry and UWE both have options for pilot training (with additional cost of course).
Lastly, I might get a lot of flack for this, but I really do hate presentations and stuff like that. So, are there many presentations that is part of the course and can I skip them without sacrificing too much of my scores?
Thanks in advance!
