how lenient are they on A level grades?

I'm interested in the War and Conflict course - just wondering how popular this is and whether there's any leniency on the BBB A level requirements?

From what I have seen, Kent seems pretty lenient on the grade boundaries, most universities are if they are not RG or upper tier. I'm moving to Kent this year from another university, had to go through the application process once again, both universities, from the people I have spoken to (neither are top tier in the grand scheme) are quite lenient in letting students in if the grades are close, like a BBC or ACC.
