Doubt it, but you can be released from your Insurance on request. Problem is that you risk the piranha pool of clearing. I suppose you could try it, though.

I've been wishing the same, actually. : ( I'm reaaaaally praying that it doesn't come to my insurance. My insurance offer's for a course I don't even want to do anymore...

Hey, i was in the same situation. After 14 days u cant change ur insurance so I phoned up UCAS and they told me to ring my insurance uni and ask to be released. My status on track changed the next day. Sorted!

Its best if you dont want to go to your insurance to sort it out now as when it comes to results day it could take longer for them 2 release you and it may be harder for them too aswell as its so late.
