Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

I'm starting a MSc in Bioinformatics in January and I wondered if anyone knew anything about summer holidays or breaks for year round students. I'm trying to plan a trip for next year and can't find dates anywhere on the uni website. I've tried emailing them last week but have had no reply.

Do any current masters students know what weeks they get off in the summer?

I just wanted to say that I will be starting the MSc in Bioinformatics in January too. Look forward to meeting you in 5 months.

From my interview I remember the summer holidays being sometime in August. I remember it being split into 3 terms. It's something like January until easter is the taught part (I think we then have two weeks off for easter), then we have until August for the group project and from September to end for the individual projects. Sorry I can't remember exact dates, I'll see if I've written it down anywhere.
