Hi! I'm currently in year 12 and have just finished my AS exams in French, Spanish, Geog and English Lit. I'm hoping to study modern languages at Uni but currently I am torn between Bristol and Newcastle. After visiting Bristol on the uni open day I fell in love with the city and was quite impressed with the Langauge resources however do not know much information about the modules I would study other than the fact there is an emphasis on culture. When visiting Newcastle I feel I didn't love the city as much but the modern language school was amazing and I was blown away with the flexibility of the degree.
I'm hoping to pick up a 3rd Language alongside French and Spanish post A-level and I am considering Italian/German or even Chinese at Newcastle if it is possible to study alongside two languages.
Do any current students at Newcastle or Bristol have any info about the course and what they enjoy/don't enjoy about certain aspects of study?
