Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

My offer was 5s in physics c mech and physics c electriciy and magnetism, coupled with a 2 in step 1. I applied for deferred entry, to spend a year at a US university first. This spring I had problems with depression and missed some class. This put me behind in my physics class and I and my reference contacted imperial about it. They added it to my file but did not change my offer conditions. I ended up getting a 5 on Mechanics and a 4 on E&M, which is honestly better than I thought I would do. I got 554 on my other three exams(not included in my offer), and expect to have a 3 on step 1. What are my chances?
