I am sorry to hijack the thread but how about someone who is starting A&E first? What's the general workload like, what's expected, etc?Thank you in advance for any guidance/pointers/tips. :smile:

Is it a supernumary post?

A&E is generally simpler and less hassle. You have one job: clerk patients and shift them out accordingly as fast as you can. It's pretty non-stop, but you will generally get allocated/protected breaks.

You should have good senior support on the shop floor at all times.
