Yes the examiners will still be setting papers for subjects that have been updated this year and it will be possible to resit next summer if you can find a centre accepting private candidates for the exams you want. Ask at your school on results day if it looks like it may be necessary.

You can retake any A2 and AS old spec exams next summer

Yes, you can resit legacy spec exams next year for the last time provided they are both AQA and you have studied the qualification previously
