Im 16 can i still join army cadets now? and will i make friends or will i be closed off? What will i start with the 12 year olds or go to the other 16 year olds?

I am not very sure however I do believe you will be able to join the police cadets. However, you will most likely be with the 16+. The age to join is 12 and above.

I am not really sure what you mean by if you would be able to make threads or it would be closed off... However, if you mean that you would be able to make friends then most likely you will. You spend a most of your time with that group of people so you will get to know each other well from what I know.

You can join at 16. Yes you will make friends. You will start off with the 12 year olds although most recruits seem to join at 13/14. There might be other older ones joining at the same time of course! There will be plenty of time to socialise with older cadets though. I find older cadets have the ability to learn faster so you won't necessarily be stuck with the recruits for long.

You can join army cadets up to the age of 18 years old , even though you would start at basic which is a range of people around 13/14 years old . You would fly by in the stars if you were willing to work hard . The other 16 year olds won't close you off and would probably take you in as they knew what it was like to be the new person joining . If you do decide to join cadets , I can personally say that it's a real experience and it allows you to do things which you wouldn't normally do and it's a great way to socialise .
