Basically Im done with GCSE's and i have nothing to do so i want a job but where should i apply, any tips for CV's and how much do you think i will be paid roughly?

Minimum wage for 16-17 years olds is £3.87 so you should be paid this or maybe more. To be honest, as much as people bring McDonalds down, they pay 16-17 year olds extremely well whilst providing really good work experience. In terms with your CV its basically your place to brag about any achievements you have, you can find loads of examples online. there is a specific page on the student room based on finding jobs at 16. Hope this helps!!

You will most likely get paid the minimum wage to start off which is
£3.87 an hour for under 18s.

Best bet would be looking around smaller local stores who may offer you higher wage. Some coffee shops will also offer higher wages.

Easiest places to find a job without experience at are fast food places. If you have a local McDonald's, they always hire people, but obviously, they don't pay much.

Some companies have a set wage non dependant on your age but there is more competition for those.

Cleaning jobs usually offer higher pay just because no one really wants them but they're usually not that bad and have short shifts.

Basically look around where you live, see if anything is available. Don't expect anything special but you should be able to get something.
