I was planning on studying for a language exam while doing my degree so I was wondering what the average workload is. If there's a link to a timetable example then that would be great! I'm planning on studying at Newcastle uni so wanted to see the free time I would have. Also how many hours of independent study do you need to do a day roughly?

I am currently going into my final year studying BA Business at Nottingham Trent. My contact hours for both first and second year were 12 hours. Independent study did vary depending on different weeks depending on work load. However, all universities are different and therefore will have different contact hours and will also have different recommendations on how much independent study they want you to do.
