Result details query (may pertain to all faculties)

I have received my Unit Results for second year and am currently receiving a 2.1 at 65. I've calculated that if I average 73 next year, I'll get 69.8 overall due to the 40/60 weighting between 2nd year versus 3rd year. I've got a few questions:

1) If I do average 73 next year and receive 69.8 overall, is this rounded up to a first?

2) How realistic is my ambition to make the leap from 65 to 73/74/75? I would say that I worked reasonably hard this year, but let it slip at points. I could have definitely worked both smarter and harder throughout.

3) I'm an independent worker and up until this stage have rarely used student support from unit/personal tutors etc...bearing this in mind, what would you all recommend I do to ensure that I give myself the best chance of achieving an overall first?

Obviously you'll need my subject to form a relevant judgement, I study Ancient History.
