so i just moved to the city where i will start my study but it's still a long time until September when school starts and it's a bit boring not knowing anyone, how can i meet some people and make some new friends ?

I was in the same predicament last year, and what helped me was getting a job - it helped me to meet a ton of new people. Plus just spending time in the city, like in coffee shops should also help.

    Do volunteering
    Join a gym
Take like a dance class or something
Hang out on TSR until September

    Learn how to moonwalk
-> proceed to moonwalk around town.
