Should I move to Italy for my boyfriend?

I'm in LDR with someone from Italy (both gay) till October, I voted for brexit ... his a left-winger and pro-EU, as we're leaving EU he will no longer be staying in UK after university as we not in EU (his emotionally attached to EU)

I'm proud to be British even if it goes quiet for a while as it rebuilds its role in the world, I want to stay British but he says his going back to Italy after university is finished, I don't know if I want to go because I'm happy in Britain... I knew we was going to leave as there was no majority of +7% on yougov (it was obvious guys, unrealistic to say there will be 100% turnout)

I knew this was coming but thought he would of said " maybe I'll stay in UK, we'll see " but now he says he won't and doesn't like the English anymore for voting out.

I could go to Italy but I don't think I'll be happy to go there... what would you do? Go there or not in 6-7 years or end it as we going in different pathways.

I'm social conservative, his pro-socialist.

Then don't. It sounds like it's probably time to move on to be honest..

Yes. Better weather, cheaper cost of living, and generally more charming/chipper people (until the Italian Banking crisis really blows up, that is) :h:

I never thought italy could win you over, such a beautiful country

His coming to UK for University in October, I'll try to talk to him to stay in UK till 2026... yes his worth it, his not your typical person and we're very very similar (aka. natural strong connection) which is why I want to but also will miss UK with what it stands for.

Then make it happen, if he`s special then it`s worth it! But talk about what that means to you, the sacrifices your making...

Plus italy isn`t that far, so you can always come home on holiday!
