diff betwee BSc in CS and BSc in SE

whats the diff between BSc in CS and BSc in Software Engin?...in my CS module there is also a specialization in SE( 5 modules to be precise)...
Dont take this as a fact but i think its got something to do with the following

software eng = possibilitys of developing for people like microsoft, mac etc creating software

comp science = more towards working for peeps like IBM, Dell, and so on


maybe wrong tho

SE focuses more on the practical side of developing software. So that would include things like working in a team, use of tools, etc. Where as computer science focuses more on the theoretical and technical side of things. Although both courses will contain elements of both of these things, just a different focus.
