For A Level Biology and Chemistry, at the end of Year 12, do you do exams as AS Level and do the rest as A Level in Year 13?

Or do you do them all at once in Year 13?
My exam board is AQA I believe

Responses are appreciated. I just need clarification, I apologise for my naivety.

Exams a the end of Year 13, optional AS that counts for nothing I believe at the end of year 12. I think it is the same across all boards. I've just finished Year 12, doing Eduqas Chem/Phys and Edexcel Bio.

Okay thanks a lot! Because I am aware that they're removing coursework and my new teacher mentioned something about doing 2 exams at the end of year 12, I'm not sure exactly what she said or meant by it by I just need clarification regarding the new curriculum.

Hi, I think most exam boards are just doing A Level exams at the end of year 13, however I heard that there are still some AS exams for subjects like biology which is optional for people wanting to apply to Oxford and such who may want to look at an actual exam performance as well as a teacher's prediction. I don't know if there's many other reasons for students of the new specs to do AS exams for sciences. This is just what I've heard though and is by no means factual so just ask your teacher about it when you can.
