    Hi Everyone,

    On Tuesday 19 July at approximately 12.30pm, MPs will debate the Higher Education and Research Bill 2016.

    This is a Bill to make provision about higher education and research; and to make provision about alternative payments to students in higher or further education.

    This Bill is sponsored bySajid Javid.

    Share your thoughts on this Bill with your MP and encourage them to take part in this debate.

    Today, MPs discussed the Higher Education and Research Bill in a Public Bill Committee.

    In the morning session they heard from:
