Can I PM someone with my first attempt at a song so they can tell me to shut up?!

This is my first try with a blue yeti and audacity and a cheap acoustic guitar. One of my first tries at writing lyrics too. Just wondering whether I should give up on trying to make my own music for good. Should I just do other hobbies like videogames, learning instruments and studying maths?

It's sort of coming out like a poor man's Kimya Dawson. My voice gets funny at points because I'm struggling to sing. I'm not overcome with emotion.

Was that sufficiently enticing a description that you'll let me PM you?

I want someone nice who won't bully me.

If I'm told I can give up trying to compose, then I can focus on learning the piano and studying maths.

Creating music and lyrics isn't easy, but if you enjoy it then you shouldn't give it up. The end results will be worth it

I agree as you shouldn't give up on the thing that you love and are good at as it takes practice to get good even when you are good at something you still got to practice so that you can get even better. Also you shouldn't give up if it makes you happy
