English Language CIE IGCSE Directed Writing And Composition Paper-2016.

For any English experts, would you be able to shed some light on my situation? I sat the CIE IGCSE English Language Directed Writing And Composition Paper in May. We had to write a letter to a man who had moved house and tell him why his move did not work out. What I wrote was more generalised and I did not refer to the man or his family until the last paragraph. How many marks would I lose for this, if any?

Also, are the marks allocated for "quality of writing" and "content" intertwined? For example, can you get 2/10 for 'content" and 12/15 for "quality of writing". My logic is that the quality of writing can be very good but the content can not be so good but you can still get marks for quality of writing if you have sophisticated writing. Is my logic correct?

I am worrying a lot about this, so anyone who can give any useful information I would be very grateful to!
