I don't mind doing overtime if i'm asked and doing it every once in a while, but it seems to be every week. I'm not even asked if i'd like to do it. They just put me down regardless. I've always been in jobs where your contracted hours are your contracted hours and the employer will always ask if they want you to do extra.

I said i'm a university student in my job interview and they took me on fully recognising that. Every week I seem to be going over my contracted hours and it's really starting to get me down and my university work is being affected.

I suppose at the moment the way they're looking at it, its summer your work won't be getting affected too much right now, but speak to your manager and say you don't want the overtime
