JD Wetherspoons job application process questions

Hi, so last Sunday I had a interview for a bar position at a Wetherspoons. The manager said I would hear back from on the following Wednesday or Thursday for a trial shift. I had a phone call on that Wednesday inviting me to a trial shift on the Sunday. So this Sunday I went to the trial shift at the end the manager sounded really impressed and said I would hear back from then either Wedneaday (today) or Thursday. I haven't heard from him today and was wondering if I should ring them to ask if my trial shift went okay and if I got the job or to wait until tomorrow and ring them if I don't hear from them by tomorrow (Thursday). Does anyone know if they let people know even if they didn't get the job?
