    My maths ability is probably (just) above average so I think i'll cope with Add Maths. Maths is generally great until you get onto probability which is so boring :yawn:
    Then you probably wouldn't like the Statistics modules, and its compulsory for the new linear normal Maths, but optional for linear Further Maths. The problem with modularity within Maths is that your school may not offer the modules you want to take, or may force you to take a set of modules they have defined, so Stats might be forced for you. (understandable since they can only accomodate for so much) If you're predicted an 8 at GCSE, that probably means that you're great at Maths!

    you should take a look at aqa level 2 futher maths, it bridges the gap between a level and gcse quite well
