Hello everyone, I just graduated from political science and now I plan to study political economy. I got accepted to both Essex and Warwick. I can't decide which one to choose. Essex will be cheaper than Warwick.(between 2k and 6k depending on scholarship). Which would be better for my academic career? If Warwick is better than Essex will it worth the price? Thank you for your replies. Also, I don't know UK. Which university is better located?

Warwick is actually much better than Essex but maybe you should visit both campuses first

Imagine a 12 hour clock with London at it's centre, Essex would be at 2 o'clock and Warwick would be at 10 o'clock, you can find this out really easily by looking on their website and searching their addresses on Google maps.

Essex is a great university but ranking-wise it is in the 40-50's, where as Warwick is top 10, so it would justify additional cost though Essex would be tempting with scholarship if it was 2k cost.

Warwick would definitely open a lot more doors for you as it is up there with Oxford, Cambridge, LSE.. names that are synonymous with leaders in politics and business etc.
