Hey everyone. I have a problem. My course in the UK starts from this fall and I need to open a bank account in the UK bank so I could get grant/scholarship. But as I tried to do that, it seems sorta impossible for me, because usually you can apply only if you're a permanent UK resident. Right now I'm living in the EU and I'm not from the UK. Maybe someone knows which Banks would be the best in this situation? What should I do?

As far as I know you have to apply in person. Unis usually have a week before term starts during which international students arrive and get help with sorting this sort of thing out. The other option is to come here on your own and sort out a bank account in advance.
