How to get a job at 17

Announcements Posted on
Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

To do experience, you should volunteer at a lot of different places which is what I did and I just got my first job at a tuition place and I'm hoping to get another job at a retail place fingers crossed!

Hi I've just finished my A-Levels and i'm finding it surprisingly hard to find a job. I've applied to 7 jobs since late June and only 2 have replied . Both were online questionnaire ones which i regret taking cause they are such a waste of time. For one tescos job I applied to I copied the exact answers someone had said that got them the job but i still was rejected. My CV seems fine I've got it checked by a few people and i even have 2 years of work experience at oxfam. I've handed in my CV to clarks but it doesn't seem that they will reply.
Are you going to university in September? A lot of places will be reluctant to take you on for just a few weeks.
