Muslims how do you go about finding a spouse?

You could ask your parents to arrange meetings with potentials. You could go to the local mosque to see if they run a matrimonial service.
If someone caught your eye through school/college/uni or a wedding or something, you could get someone from your family to see if they're available. I have heard of someone seeing a girl they liked at an Isoc in uni and then he asked the isoc admin team to ask her if she was interested in marriage and that worked.
Those are the halal ways I can think of.

A lot of my friends are getting married right now and they basically just let it be known that they would like to get married and then others told them of people they knew who were interested too.
