Appealing against academic withdrawal

Hi there,
I'm looking for some advice. I'm at the end of my 2nd year of nursing and I found out today that due to me failing biology module twice they have decided that it would be best to withdraw me from the course.
Obviously as you can imagine I am completely devastated and looking for advice from anyone who may of appealed against a decision like this. How they went around it? And was they successful?
Any help at all will be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Hi, I've also just finished my second year of nursing at City.

I'm so sorry to hear they've decided that, it's awful! Are you able to appeal? Have you got any extenuating circumstances that you can use to appeal with?

Good luck X

Sorry to hear about your trouble.

You need to talk to your tutor

You should then book an appointment with an advisor at the SU to help you put the appeal together.

You must decide on what grounds you are appealing. The SU will know, but as the poster above has pointed put you need good reasons, such as them miscalculating your marks or unforseen extenuating circumstances which affected your performance.

Its importnat to get help to try and prepare your best case and the SU will know the rules for your Uni.
