Hi, please can someone help me with this
My life is literally a mess right now . So brief explanation, i'll be going into my third year of criminology and sociology at Salford at the end of September and I hate it. When I applied to uni my dad really wanted me to go and so did I but I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with my life and I just picked the first thing I thought I could do ok in. Unfortunately, I hate it, the subject does not interested me at all anymore, I've done really bad on all my exams and coursework coming out with 2:2's and 3rds and I am just so unhappy.
I really now after sometime have thought long and hard about this and want to go into a career in property, I feel the degree I am doing will offer me no help with entering this career plus I doubt the grade I will potentially finish with will be good enough to impress any employers anyway. I really want to remain at Salford but change my course, potentially to Quantity Surveying or Real Estate and Property, with either I could do an accelerated degree (2 years) hopefully I would assume this would mean I could still get funding from student finance?
Has anybody had any experience with changing so late into their degree, I am just so happy and cannot continue to do this any longer, will the University allow me to do this? Help please
