Having done CIE AS Maths last nov, I am sitting for CIE A2 Maths this coming nov. I plan to do further maths either at AS or A2 in the following year. However i do not want to sit for the CIE board due to it being too difficult and too much to learn in a short time as well as a lack of resources. Looking at other boards, I hope to be able to do Edexcel FM.

My concern is that normally a person sitting for Edexcel FM will have done/ are doing Edexcel Maths.

How would I having done CIE Maths affect my plan? Will i not be able to sit for Edexcel FM due to having done CIE Maths as the system is different. ( CIE Maths is linear while Edexcel is modular as well as the syllabus differences) I have emailed Edexcel twice about this already but have not received a reply. ( Approx 2 weeks)

Hopefully someone who has been or is in the same or similar situation could help me out. Thanks
