Law Graduate applying to study Graduate Medicine

I want to study graduate medicine at Nottingham University but not sure whether I would have a chance at securing a place.

I’m expected a 2.1 and only chose to study law to not have to move away from home. I also chose law because my local university was highest ranked in law than other subjects. Now that I have matured I really regret not perusing a career in medicine, as I know it is a job I would love doing.

You'll need to take the GAMSAT in September for a shot at Notts. (You could also apply to Swansea and SGUL GEPs with GAMSAT). If you want more options then Newcastle and Warwick would accept law grads but they are UKCAT screened. Good luck with the rest of your degree, start getting some clinical/hands on care experience to help inform you and boost your application chances.

The admissions tests are the biggest hurdle but it's deffo possible to make the change.
