Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

Fine Art Students

Hey guys,

Currently having an issue at uni and was wondering if any of you have had or are having the same problem. I am doing a Fine Art course and my tutors point blank refuse to allow me to do the subject matter I want to do (I like painting and drawing portraiture...nothing crazy, I did it all through A-Levels and developed a passion for it) and say that they won't give me high marks for it. instead they are pushing me to do something I hate doing and then criticising me because I show no passion for my work. I am about to go in my third year so I want to change my project now to get my grade up (I am currently working at a 3rd and need a minimum 2:1). Anyone else having these problems or something similar?
