Im currently resitting the year after pretty disappointing AS results last year.
I am thinking of taking a gap year and not applying to university this cycle, will universities mind me doing this? Ill be applying to university at 19 with my achieved A2 results.

Of course universities won't mind, many people take gap years and it isn't uncommon for people to defer applying until after they've left school. If you want to take time out then sure, it is a good idea.
