Student finance loan help

    I left university due a motorcycle crash, and mental health condition in my second year, which left me in debt of 11k, I won't be able to pay it off that easily, I was wondering when do they cancel it or write it off, or anything like that.

    Either when you reach 60 or 30 years later, whichever comes first. There is something, I think, about it being written off sooner if it's likely you won't work again. But the information on that is so vague.
