I know that my parents' laptop auto updated to windows 10, though that was on windows 8.1 so needed the upgrade! I didn't update this Acer because it was on windows 7 and windows 7 is better than 10 in my opinion
Have a look and let me know the outcome

104487I must disagree with you there. Windows 10 just seems more polished. Whereas windows 7 has become, just a bit average really. Windows 8/8.1 was radically different from 7 and windows 10 is somewhere in between the two: which I like.
