How do I go about leaving school to work?

Why bother with a post grad course - waste of time? 17-10-2016

I'm 17 and I've just finished my AS exams (I've applied to stay on for A-level) but I've decided that I no longer want to stay in sixth form or school in general and just go straight to work. I don't see myself going to Uni and I know that once I start working and earn my own money I'll be happy so please don't advise me to stay on at school because it's just not working for me. I've read that I can leave school and work as long as I'm at least in part-time education until I'm 18 but I really don't want to be in any form of education and I turn 18 in November so I would only be in education for 2 months so there is no point doing part-time anyway. So how would I leave school to work? Do I fill out a form or something?

work as what? retail if that's what your aiming for best off just staying in education.

Legally you have to be in education until you're 18 so part time it is i guess.

it's a year, just get on with it - get a part time job so you're employable when you finish, you'll at least leave yourself with more options for the future

    I agree.
You legally have to stay in education until until you 18 anyway.

Please really think about not finishing off your a levels you might end up regretting it later. Why are you thinking of leaving school? What do your parents say?
